B-17
Notice the throttles being advanced for takeoff.
In this takeoff I raise the tail when airspeed allows. An alternate method for the B-17 takeoff is to allow the tail wheel to roll throughout and allow liftoff from a three-point attitude.
Turning from left base leg to final approach.
I noticed upon landing--making a wheel landing on the mains, then slowly lowering the tail--that X-Plane curiously sent out ground service equipment to cross the runway. Very rarely do mysterious thing like that happen, in this case, never before and not since.
Aircraft controls can either be assigned to various devices that I've purchased, or can be manipulated by mouse. In the case of engine mixture controls for the B-17, I've chosen to use the mouse. You'll see the mixtures for engines 2 and 3 being moved to cut-off and the engines will shut down.
